Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Magic mobile application and this website operated by Lexi, Inc.. By installing or using Magic, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Magic helps you compose, rewrite, and present short-form messages using on-device AI. Features may change as we improve the app during TestFlight and after public release.

Eligibility and accounts

Magic does not currently require an account. You are responsible for the device you use and for complying with applicable law when using the app.

Your content

You retain ownership of the text and other content you create in Magic. You are responsible for what you write, rewrite, present, and share with others. Magic processes your content on your device to provide rewriting and presentation features.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Magic in a way that violates law or third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the service
• Use the app to generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, or abusive material
• Submit feedback that contains malware or unrelated personal data about others

AI-generated output

Rewritten text is generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review output before relying on it, especially in sensitive or high-stakes situations. We do not guarantee that generated text will be error-free or appropriate for every context.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Magic is designed to keep your writing on your device and to collect only optional, anonymous usage analytics, which you can turn off at any time in Settings → Data Controls. If you opt in to the Magicians, our beta testing circle, contact from us and the linking of your details to usage analytics happen only with your explicit consent, as described in the Privacy Policy.

TestFlight and pre-release software

Pre-release builds may contain bugs, lose data, or change without notice. You use TestFlight and beta versions at your own risk. Please back up important information outside the app if needed.

Third-party services

Magic may rely on Apple platform services and, unless you turn it off, PostHog for anonymous analytics as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Apple services is also subject to Apple's terms and policies.

Disclaimer

Magic is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lexi, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Magic.

Termination

You may stop using Magic at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or discontinue the service if needed for legal, security, or operational reasons.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted at https://magic.lexi.me/terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
